The successful passers of the Master Plumber Licensure Exam (MPLE) gathered in Davao City for the face-to-face mass Special Oath Taking hosted by the National Master Plumbers Association of the Philippines (NAMPAP) Davao Chapter in coordination with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). The event took place at the Grand Menseng Hotel, Magallanes Street on the evening of Friday, June 23, 2023.

Board of Master Plumbing (BOMP) Member Hon. Jaime Jajay E. Cruz administered the oath taking of more than 20 new professionals all over the Mindanao region, who pledged to skilfully fulfill their responsibilities as Master Plumbers and to abide by the ethical and lawful practice in the country. Hon. Cruz also spoke as the event’s Guest of Honor, giving inspiration to the budding master plumbers with his message on the importance of the profession.

After the oath taking ceremony, the NAMPAP National and its Davao Chapter presented and accepted over 30 new members in the presence of the NAMPAP officers, including event's Guest of Honor NAMPAP National President RMP Richard Mangubat and NAMPAP Davao Chapter President RMP James Ray Magdadaro. Moreover, the new chapter of the national organization– NAMPAP Davao Oriental– and their officers were charged and inducted to office, with NAMPAP Davao Oriental as the first chapter organized under NAMPAP Davao as its mother chapter.

With the conclusion of the ceremony on the Panunumpa ng Propesyonal (Oath of Professional), the passers who took their oath are only a few steps away to receive their Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to practice as Filipino Registered Master Plumbers (RMPs). Furthermore, with its new members and new chapter, NAMPAP continually strengthens its collective goal in reinforcing and supporting the development of the Master Plumbing profession.
